Amazon Channels

Amazon started a new program along with their Prime Video called Amazon Channels.  It offers subscriptions for individual channels.  You do need a Prime membership to access Amazon Channels.

Note: this page contains affiliate links.  That means if you buy something using one of the links, I will receive a small commission at no additional cost to you (they help pay for my Netflix).

Try a free 30 day trial of Amazon Prime  (and check out Amazon Channels as well)

Amazon Channels offers free 7 days trials for most of their channels.  After the free trial, your Amazon account will be billed for each channel subscription that you decide to keep.  Like most streaming services, you can easily cancel online at any time (yay!)

Some of the top channels are mainstream, such as HBO, CBS All Access and Showtime.  However, Amazon Channels also gets into more niche markets like Best Westerns Ever and Screambox.  They are also offering several channels aimed at kids, PBS Kids, Boomerang and Noggin (just to name a few).

Here is a list of some of the channels offered:

  • CBS All Access
  • Britbox
  • HBO
  • Showtime
  • Starz
  • Cinemax
  • Hallmark Movies Now
  • Tribecca Shortlist
  • Lifetime Movie Vault
  • H Vault (History Channel)
  • Strand Releasing
  • Indie Flix Shorts
  • Best Westerns Ever
  • Screambox

There are many many more.  Some of these channels are commonly included in Live TV Streaming Service packages.
